Spike The Cat

He is 18 years old and his actual color is orange. He tolerated the oxygen very well for about 10 minutes. Then he perked up quite a bit, but he still let us take care of him. Since he had been trapped in a house fire and obviously inhaled a lot of smoke and fumes, the owners were taking him to the 24-hour emergency vet for further evaluation. No, that's not my hand in the pic.

"That's Something You Don't See Very Often...

...A one-legged man on a bike. Think I will go talk to him."
And he did.

Camping and Stuff

A few pics. I need to reset something somehow because nothing saves like it used to and it's annoying. Here goes anyway and you will have to figure out the order. One of my favorite pics of Cy and Kimberly. ALL their pics were REALLY good. Retta getting ready to rock it. Clifford fishing. Suzy's new pet.

Something In My Eye

Suz, Retta, Cliff and I went to Cuba Libre. The food was/is fab. We took seats open to the street so we could feed any cops that happened by. Clifford kept saying that something was in his eye. You be the judge.

Pigs Like Grapes

This guy took Caimee's grapes. He went straight to their cooler, lifted the top with his snount and took off with her grapes. It left her the bag. More camping pics tomorrow night. After this, I am DONE. My yard looks good, though.

The Spider I told Suzy about

I told Suzy to look out for this one because it spun a web very close to the back door. These close up are far more terrifying than seeing her in person. But check out her spinning her web!

Whip Scorpion

Turns out he isn't a scorpion, but belongs to the spider family (you can chose your friend, but not your relatives). He doesn't sting, but strays a vinegar-type substance that is harmless. He has 8 legs but only uses 6 of them for walking. But he sure looks tough. And this is the stance he makes if anyone messes with him too much. We saw him at Davis Mountains State Park.
